Notes:
Salem New Connexion Methodist Church was built on land donated by John Bridgman Con 5 NDS Lot 1 Nelson Twp. (now NE corner of Walkers Line and S.R. 2), abt 1860? The church was moved to nearby Zimmerman in 1890, retaining the Salem cemetery. Names in this cemetery include: Bridgeman, Bell, Gowland, Newell, Vollick, Campbell, VanNorman, Simmerman.
The Vollick graves are together in a prickly grove of bushes, with a view of Mt. Nemo to the west. Two stones are face down and can't be read, others are damaged. The following are transcriptions on record:
