Letter 4: 35 Cordova Mines April 25th Mr Paul VanValkenburgh Dear friend your letter received Some time ago. And I have delade answering as I have been trying to get the inermation you ask for it is hard to find any one that remembers so far back from what I can learn Jacob came to this country with his father Paul about the year 1790 I cannot learn whether he had any brothers. they came from to on a farm near Paul was buried. Nor when he died. I believe Jacob was buried at from whare I live and I do not know any one there. If one was there they might learn something from some of the old residents. your Aunt lives 75 miles from where I live. however if there is anything I learn later I will write you. hoping this may be of some help I remain & sincerely yours John VanVolkenburg Cordova Mines Ont
