Letter2: 34 Cordova Mines Nov 26th Mr Paul E Van Valkenburg Dear Sir Since I received Your letter I have been to see my Aunt my fathers Sister. Found her not very well and her mind was not verry clear about her forefathers I did not care to to question her much until she was feeling better She says that her fathers people came from hoolland to they came they were ue loyalists. Some of them went to of them came to the great grandfathers name was Paul and her grandfather name was Jacob. He taught school. Her father had three brothers that she remembers one of them was David one Paul and Rias. Rias was Seperated from the family and they lost track of him there was one Daughter Margaret by name. When I was speaking to her she did not rem ember any thing of T------- . but I heard my father speak of people of that name. When my Aunt is better and has time to do some thinking she will be able to give me more information about her forefathers over I have a cousin George S Van Volkenburg he lives near where grandfather is buried he was living with George when he died When I see him He may be able to give me some facts about our ansesters. his father was a man with a great memory and knew more about his people than any of the others.
