Homestead of Nathan VV - Lucinda Cole family, now demolished.

Foundation remaining of the homestead in Methuen Twp., Peterborough Co., estimated to be Con. 1, Lot 3 S 1/2. Submitter Wayne VanVolkenburg states this lot was registered to Nathan on July 8, 1898.

This location is on the west side of the extension of Vansickle Rd. north of Cordova Mines. This was the Vansickle Settlement where some of the children are stated to have been born as early as the 1860's, and where Nathan died in 1915. It is just over the county line into Peterborough Co.
