  		Vernon's Directory for the City of Oshawa, 1929 The Elgin VV - Evelina Cronk family had moved to Oshawa in Whitby East Twp., Ontario Co. by 1929. Elgin was later killed near Mactier, back in Muskoka, but may have been there doing a temporary job. The 1926 Vernon's directory does not show these particular families, although there is a Leonard Vann on the 1926. Note that Vann is a common name change from VanVolkenburg in SW Ontario. Note, this Leonard Vann has a wife named Mary.
