KING'S LOYAL AMERICANS
Ebenezer Jessup, raised in 1776 in "Charlotte County" which then was the county on both sides of Lake Champlain from

Ticonderoga and Crown Point.  These were the "Jessup Estates" centered around Corinth / Fort Edward where the

Jessup brothers Ebenezer and Edward had established Jessup's Landing and Jessup's Mills.
Active in Upper Hudson area, Burgoyne's Army
Incorporated into Jessop's Corp.

 

JESSOP'S CORP / KING'S LOYAL AMERICAN RANGERS
Edward Jessup, raised 1781 by incorporating various batteaux corps with the existing Jessup Corp, in Upper Hudson, Lake Champlain area.
Active in Upper Hudson area.  Stationed at Fort St. John.
Settled in Ernestown & Kingston, Cataraqui Townships, also Edwardsburgh, Augusta, & Elizabethtown in the Royal Twps.
