No 10265 A Memorial to be registered on an Indenture made Entered on the 26th pursuant to the Statute which Indenture, is in the follow day of April AD -ing words to wit 1850 at one OClock This Indenture made the twenty third day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty in pursuant of the act to facilitate the conveyance of real property Between John Diamond Van Valkenburg of the Township of West Oxford in the County of Oxford, Cooper, and Flora Van Valkenburg, wife of the said John Diamond Van Valkenburg, of the first part and George Miller of the Township of Cam -den in the County of Addington-__________. Witnesseth that in consideration of One Hundred and seventy-five pounds of lawful money of Canada 20 in the 4th Conc now paid by the said party of the second part to the 21 said party of the first part the receipt where of is selling by him acknowledged he the said party of the first part do grant the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever All and Singular that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate lying and being in the township of Sombra in the County of Lambton in the Province of Canada of the said Province, _____ _____ ______ pursuant two hundred acres of land be the same(?) more or less being composed of the South halves of the numbers Twenty and Twenty one in the Fourth Concession of the said township of Sombra. The said John Diamond Van Valkenburg being the eldest son and heir of at Law of Ann Van Valkenburg the Patentee of said two hundred acres of land. To have and to hold unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to and for his and their sole and only use forever the said party of the first part covenants with the said party of the second part the he has the right to convey the said lands to the said party of the second part not with- standing any act
of the said party of the first part and that he the said party of the second part shall have quiet possession of the said lands free from all encumbrances. And that the said party of the first part covenants with the said party of the second part that he has done no act to encumber the said lands. And the said party of the first part covenants with The said party of the second part the he will execute Such further assurances of the said lands as might Be requisite and that the said party of the second part all his claims upon the said lands and the said Flora Van Valkenburg wife of the said John Diamond Van Valkenburg hereby barrs her dower in the said Lands.
