I stopped by the cemetery yesterday and took a photo of the Chisholm monument. There is one very large monument with Sarah and Robert's names and dates on it and there 11 small markers surrounding it. The cemetery gave me a copy of the lot card and there is a C. VanValkenburg buried there as well. I did not find a marker for him.

An interesting note about the Chisholm's burial location. It appears that all but three of them were previously buried in the Channing Street Cemetery. They were moved to the Bluff City Cemetery when Channing closed. Channing is now the site of a city park and elementary school. Rumor has it that the school is haunted as not everyone buried at Channing was moved to Bluff City. Several years ago, when the school was building a new gym, a dig was done prior to the construction. Quite a few remains were found and no one is really sure if there are more to be found at a later date.
